Are you a WOMAN &
a DRAG QUEEN or
a FEMME DRAG performer?
If so, you are invited to participate in a sociological study examining the experiences of women & AFAB individuals who perform as drag queens and/or femme drag artists!
What is this about?
This study is affiliated with the Department of Sociology at the University of Iowa. It is being conducted as a part of a graduate student dissertation project.
This project is an opportunity to learn more about the experiences of women who perform as drag queens or as femme drag artists.
As an art from, drag is more popular than ever and it is important to document & explore the experiences of a wide variety of performers – especially those outside of the established norm (i.e., cisgender gay, bisexual, or queer men).
